One of a kind, huge museum specimen with many huge hexagonal Biotite crystals from Seiland, Alta, Finnmark, Norway.

The specimen measures 117 x 330 x 250 mm and the weight is 12,2 kilograms, and I don't have anything else near this size of other Biotite specimens. This one was for display in my fathers collection, but I am letting it go for sale.

There are six huge Biotite crystals on the front side, and one at the backside.

I don't know the exact location on Seiland where it was found, but I know that my father found some crystals like this a few hundred meters from the zircon field (closer to the sea).

If buying this one be aware that I can only send up to 20 kg out of Norway, so it will be limited how much extra you can add if you wish more minerals in the same package. Also be aware of high shipping cost. I have tried to price the specimen itself low, because I hope it will end up in some cool place who want to have it for display.
