Almandine (Garnet) from Keivy, Murmansk Oblast, Russia
91x75x68 mm (840 gr.)
Museum size Almandine from Keivy district in Murmansk.
Please watch the video to see it better, and to get a better understanding of how big it is:
It is partly covered with schist. It has great facets (on all sides) and is very close to damage free.
A uniqe chance of getting an old specimen. This was one of 3 huge almandine crystals that my fathers bought when he visited Russia about 20 years ago. 2 of them are for sale (this is the biggest for sale), and the last one remains in my private collection.
