Calcite from Malmberget, Norrbotten, Sweden.
Size: 112x235x290 mm (8360 gr.)
Here is a fantastic museum specimen with white/translucent dog tooth calcite.
It is undamaged except some minor damages along the edges, but even the edges look good on this one, and it is very rare to find such big specimens that are so complete. This one was in my father’s main collection, but due to space I need to let it go.
On the pictures I have laid it down, but it for display I would probably raise it up (it stands naturally by itself).
Also the backside is very nice, especially the Hematite. You will see both Calcite and Stilbite on the the backside (where there are some damages on the calcite).

I am not sure when it was collected, but I strongly believe it is from the 1990's or 2000's when my father was most active in collecting Swedish minerals.
