74 mm Marcasite from Kjørholt
Dalen-Kjørholt Mine, Brevik, Porsgrunn, Vestfold og Telemark, Norway
Size: 74x48x59 mm (391 gram)
It is a nice specimen from an unusual locality showing lots of lustrous, iridescent marcasite crystals. Marcasite is a common mineral, but these kinds of iridescent nodules are very rare.

I am not quite sure when it was found, but I assume about 20-30 years ago. This one was a part of my father's display room, but I now release it for sale.
